THE CONCEPT
Back to basics with the TERRESENS estates... where only nature is allowed to be picky. For its residences, TERRESENS, puts an emphasis on open spaces, where other traditional resorts would have more of an economical reasoning on their surface areas. We are highly aware of the wealth that the environment has to offer us, our lodges are placed amongst the trees... with tree houses that merge within the foliage.
Wooden houses are the only true ecological constructions: with them, we are choosing to co-exist with a living material, and are "privileging a way of life towards better construction" which respects the natural rhythms of the land. However, over and above the comfort and serenity that the wooden houses create, wood lends itself perfectly at the building stage and makes way for a number of great ideas...
The wooden houses have a great number of advantages notably for sound and thermal insulation.
40% more energy efficient Its construction creates very little waste, and because it’s a renewable resource even the waste can be recycled.
In the same vain, our ecological eagerness is such that it is over and above that of the norms set by the European Eco-Label ISO 14001.

Excellent renewable resource and recyclable. Self insulating, light, easy to work with and transport. Perfectly suitable for small surface areas such as holiday homes, and blending ideally with its surrounding environment.
